Our Amazing Teachers

 I have studied ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater. I performed in ballets with the Dance Center Youth Ensemble (DCYE) such as The Nutcracker, Aladdin, Cinderella and more. Along with DCYE, I was in Ballet Virtuoso. I've competed at Celebration Talent, KAR, EnerGy, and Dance Makers. I have received Hollywood and NYC invites, judges pick awards, performance awards and overall placement awards for solos as well as group pieces. 

I have danced for 13 years and studied ballet, pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. I danced at The Dance Center and Ballet etc. I was also apart of DYE through The Dance Center, and performed in many ballet shows.

My name is Michaela Gadzinski but everyone calls me Mac, I’m 19 years old and I’m a barista at Mundo's. I danced for almost 14 years and did it competitively most of my life. I would consider myself a contemporary dancer that’s where I’m strongest but I also love hip hop and was trained in all styles. I started dancing when I was in kindergarten I danced with Company Dance Traverse, Dance Center, and Design Dance Company.  I speak English and French and I lived in France for a year as an Au Pair

I have been involved in gymnastics, dance, and tumbling since I was 4 years old and hold a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University. I have competed in both club and MHSAA gymnastics for many years, placing in state and regional competitions. I retired as a competitor many years ago but have experience coaching gymnastics at the Grand Traverse YMCA since then. I am excited to share my love and knowledge of tumbling once again!

My name is Martina Arend, I have been dancing since I was 3 years old with Ballet, Jazz, Ballroom and Pointe.  I have 2 wonderful children that have both been in dance for most of their life.  Dancing is a passion that I believe brings a smile to the teacher and the student.  It shows concentration, creativity and having fun.  I believe that you can pick up dancing at any age and start with the basics.  My passion is ballet however I also fell in love with ballroom as well.
